Bodiam 1940s Weekend – 17th & 18th May

This fantastic event never fails to impress! After a long winter, it’s great to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and shake off the winter cobwebs. Set at Bodiam train station, the event captures life on the Home Front during the 1940s. This year, we continue our portrayal of the Beachhead Commandos, with a focus on training, in keeping with the Home Front theme. Did we mention it’s also within walking distance of the pub? The Dig For Victory Show is a fantastic 1940's family festival held in the beautiful North Somerset countryside, exploring the turbulent yet thought-provoking wartime years.  Due to a large number of the volunteer team being involved in the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy landings, we will be taking a break in 2024 and will return with all guns blazing in 2025!

Chalke Valley History Festival – Bringing History to Life!

We’re thrilled to be attending this year after missing out in 2024. The Chalke Valley History Festival is a week-long celebration of history, filled with fascinating events, talks, and activities. It’s an experience you truly can’t miss!

Led by renowned WW2 historian James Holland, the festival offers something for everyone, making it fun and engaging for all ages.

Capel 2025 – Back and Headlining Again!

After a soggy and muddy Capel 2024, we’re excited to be invited back and headline the event once again. This incredible event covers everything military, and it’s truly one not to be missed!

Despite the rain, we had an absolute blast – literally! We kicked off the show by firing a 4-inch Navy gun, followed by an impressive display featuring a real DUKW, generously lent to us for the occasion!

Back Again at Military Odyssey!

2024 brought a familiar change of pitch, but the team made the most of the new space! We were honored to meet Eddie Gaines’ son again—these shows and the people we meet are so important to us. It’s a privilege to help ensure their stories are never forgotten.
